A long way around to the same question: does it feel right?
A career moving between records, media, interactive experiences, and production systems, with sound as the through line.

Multi-disciplinary by design.
Kent “Von” Hertzog got his start in the music industry as a hip-hop producer in 1996 under the name DJ Luciano. He released underground mixtapes and CDs before engineering for artists including Violator’s JoJo Pellegrino and Pretty Ugly.
While working at 1650 Studio in Manhattan, he worked with R.A. the Rugged Man on Die, Rugged Man, Die, recorded with Ghostface Killah at 36 Chambers, and worked with Wu-Tang’s Shyheim.
Since 2013, he has released music as Von Hertzog, including singles, EPs, full-length albums, and the soundtrack to the video game Neon Aileron. The Social Club grew from that same hands-on practice of producing, mixing, mastering, and sound design.
The Social Club is the audio chapter of INCLINED, the independent multimedia practice Von founded in 2005.
