The Persistence of Memory is the first EP from VH x RR in ‘The Cosmos Trilogy’. Taking its name from the 11th episode of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos, The Persistence of Memory delves into the ideas around memory being passed down through generations via DNA. Von Hertzog produced all the music here at The Social Club, but mixing and mastering duties for were handled by Count. Featuring the first four tracks VH x RR ever wrote, The Persistence of Memory is a look into the genesis of VH x RR. Nostalgia is merely an interest and on occasions a soul-shattering yearning to relive the past in some fashion. It’s built upon that collective intelligence as much as it is our own personal lived experience.
